On average, hot water and home heating needs combined account for over 67%*1 of the overall energy bill in New Zealand homes.
Domestic heating is therefore an obvious area to target in reducing energy bills. This is especially pertinent during the winter months, where a combination of taking longer, hotter showers and the increased need for a warm and dry home, typically drives up power bills. A Mitsubishi Electric Air-to-Water Heat Pump System can help reduce your heating and hot water bill when compared to gas and direct electric systems.

Energy Efficient Hot Water
On average, domestic water heating accounts for 28% of the energy bill in New Zealand homes, and when combined with home heating, a whopping 67% of the overall energy bill!* A hot water heat pump is the energy efficient way to heat water.

How Does it Work?
An Ecodan Hot Water Heat Pump solution is made up of three key components that intuitively work together to provide super energy efficient heating – the outdoor unit, the hot water cylinder and the controller that runs the system.

Central Heating, Underfloor, Radiator or Pool Heating
Central heating featuring underfloor or radiator heating elements, is the ultimate in home comfort. Using heat pump technology it’s the most energy efficient and environmentally friendly way to heat a whole home.

Smart Energy Monitoring
Ecodan Hot Water Heat Pump Systems come standard with built-in Smart Energy Control. This easy-to-use interface provides home owners with smart energy monitoring to maximise energy efficient operation.

Water Heating Even in Winter
Mitsubishi Electric Air-to-Water Heat Pumps are the dependable solution for year-round efficient hot water when you need it most. This will especially be appreciated during the winter months.

Quiet Outdoor Operation
With higher density housing becoming more common in New Zealand, quiet outdoor operation is important to keep your neighbours happy! Specific design features enable quiet outdoor operation to be maintained at all times.

Add Value to Your Home
Updating your home and water heating to a heat pump system is an investment that not only will pay off instantly with lower electricity bills for you every month, but is sure to make a real impression with potential home buyers in the future.

Environmentally Friendly
Did you know traditional electric water heaters produce up to three times the amount of greenhouse gas compared to a hot water heat pump? A hot water heat pump has the ability to make a significant reduction in greenhouse emissions.

Steve and the team provided excellent service from start to finish. Steve came out for a quote within hours of my initial enquiry. He was patient with me bumbling my way around the old aircon and heatpump units and helped me find an economical solution to bring my heating up to Healthy Homes specification and double-checked the assessment to ensure that we chose the right wattage and capacity.
Apart from its utility, the unit, a 73KW Panasonic number looks a million bucks in situ and has subtly facelifted the space on account of being a more modern, white unit.
Regretfully, I have forgotten the name of the technician who came to do the installation but he was excellent and updated the circuitry which will solve some issues with tripping the previous setup had.
They removed the old unit while they were at it and placed the outtake in a better location even though it was a last minute change.
effective product after paying $14,000. Do not recommend.
The installation team were fast, efficient and friendly to chat with, all of the rubbish was removed from the premises and the house was as clean as it possibly could be, in view of the muddy state of the garden. The quote was less than at least two competitors.
The ducting has all been put in the ceiling, so there are no unsightly ducts running all over the place, this is over and above what I thought I was quoted for , furthermore I was relieved to establish that my ceiling was quite clean and that there are no rodents in there (additional free service) which is very much appreciated, based on my fear of the fury little fiends!!!
During the course of the installation, the lawnmower guy came and did the lawns, as he came through the gate, some of the grass and mud splashed onto the white outside wall. Quite some time later, one of the team used the outside hose to clean off his ladder, he noticed the messy wall and used the hose to clean it off, while he was there.
Wow, just wow, it's the little things like that which turn a positive customer experience into an absolutely delightful one!!
I have no hesitation in recommending or even actively encouraging other customers to use this service.
Air Conditioning Group is a credit to all New Zealand installers and I only wish that other companies showed the same pride, expertise and exceptional customer service that I witnessed today.
Signing off, in shorts and a T shirt admiring my beautiful air conditioning with a Pinot Gris!!
Again, thank you for your excellent service!
Penny Cotton & Simba!!
Was upfront at quoting about need for using of powerboats due to size of unit ( and the only persons to do so! ) very very professional.

The recommendation and selection of units to use was done well.
Matt and his install team were helpful, clear and efficient, gave us a head's up on some maintenance he though we might like to look into they noticed when in the roof space (not related to them) also returned to reposition one of our vents after we felt it was in the wrong position with no questions asked or additional cost.
Will definitely use again should the need arise.
Once they arrived at my home, Steve and Matt quickly assessed the situation and provided me with a detailed plan of action. They were able to fix my air conditioning unit in no time at all, and I was blown away by their knowledge and skill.
Not only did Steve and Matt do a fantastic job, but they were also incredibly polite and friendly. They made sure to clean up after themselves and even gave me some tips on how to maintain my air conditioning unit in the future.
Steve was so informative, walking me through the whole process and Matt made the difficult install seem easy.
I would definitely recommend aircon group to anyone looking air-conditioning in Auckland.
