Heat Pumps for New Builds

Outstanding execution. The job involved removing gas under floor ducting and replacing with heat pump ducting in our renovated villa. There were many challenges.Heat pump ducting needed to be bigger than the gas ducting and access was limited by downstairs bedroom, steel beams and the vents had to be made slightly larger. In the kitchen there was very poor access due to a structural beam in the way. The gas people just crunched up the pipe and wrapped duct tape around it. ACG custom made a tin trough to perfectly fit in the floor. The system also needed inlet vents for air and this was cleverly accessed and designed using the downstairs hallway and cupboard. All the old rubbish was taken away and the job was left spotless. The final result is much better than the gas system as we now also have cooling in the summer. This was a very complex job and I would doubt other aircon companies would have been able to complete such a skilled job. I highly recommend ACG.

We needed our air con de-gassed for some other work to be done on our property. Even though Steve said they were fully booked, he went the extra mile to try to help and managed to fit us in at very short notice. The guy who came to do the job was really efficient and good. Steve and the team provided excellent service from start to finish. Steve came out for a quote within hours of my initial enquiry. He was patient with me bumbling my way around the old aircon and heatpump units and helped me find an economical solution to bring my heating up to Healthy Homes specification and double-checked the assessment to ensure that we chose the right wattage and capacity.
Apart from its utility, the unit, a 73KW Panasonic number looks a million bucks in situ and has subtly facelifted the space on account of being a more modern, white unit.
Regretfully, I have forgotten the name of the technician who came to do the installation but he was excellent and updated the circuitry which will solve some issues with tripping the previous setup had.

I would give 10 starts to these guys if I could. Steve replied and came around to quote almost immediately after my inquiry. Our layout was a bit tricky, but he figured out the best way to position the heat pumps. On the day, Ethan and Matt turned up on time, which was already a win for me. They were professional, engaging, checkin in with me and being respectful. They worked so hard to finish the install and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Everything looks and works perfect. Had full house ducted installed this week and so far so good. Good service through and the team did a decent job on the fitting.

They removed the old unit while they were at it and placed the outtake in a better location even though it was a last minute change.

We bought the Diaken central heating system in August 2021. From day one, our lounge of 5 bedroom house, never gets warm enough and mostly is just cold as switched off. We requested help for few times. They attendeded once and replaced the thing and still no effect. Very hard to get in touch. Not so
effective product after paying $14,000. Do not recommend.

Had a heat pump installed today after only ordering it a week ago and I can’t rate the installers highly enough. They were punctual, friendly, communicated the process well, and cleaned up after themselves. Overall a stellar job.

We just had five air conditioning units installed by Air Conditioning Group. Firstly, they have been punctual from their initial quotation and communication has been great. The installation team were fast, efficient and friendly to chat with, all of the rubbish was removed from the premises and the house was as clean as it possibly could be, in view of the muddy state of the garden. The quote was less than at least two competitors.

The ducting has all been put in the ceiling, so there are no unsightly ducts running all over the place, this is over and above what I thought I was quoted for , furthermore I was relieved to establish that my ceiling was quite clean and that there are no rodents in there (additional free service) which is very much appreciated, based on my fear of the fury little fiends!!!

During the course of the installation, the lawnmower guy came and did the lawns, as he came through the gate, some of the grass and mud splashed onto the white outside wall. Quite some time later, one of the team used the outside hose to clean off his ladder, he noticed the messy wall and used the hose to clean it off, while he was there.

Wow, just wow, it's the little things like that which turn a positive customer experience into an absolutely delightful one!!

I have no hesitation in recommending or even actively encouraging other customers to use this service.
